These terms apply to Pflugerville Gazette (https://pflugerville.localgazette.news) and other sites in the Local Gazette network. By using this site you agree to them.

Reader support contributions

  • Reader support is an optional one-off payment of $5, $15, $30. It is not a subscription and does not renew automatically.
  • A contribution does not buy goods, services, advertising benefits, preferential coverage or influence over editorial decisions. The site remains free to read whether or not you contribute.
  • Local Gazette is not a charity, so reader support is not a charitable donation. Stripe processes the payment; we do not store full card details.
  • If a payment appears incorrect, email [email protected] with the Stripe receipt reference.

Using the site

  • Content is for personal, non-commercial reading unless we agree otherwise in writing.
  • You may link to our articles. Do not scrape, republish or frame our content as your own.
  • Do not attempt to disrupt the site, overload our servers, or misuse forms and APIs.

Accuracy

We aim for accurate local reporting and attribute sources. News moves quickly and errors can happen. See our editorial policy for how we correct mistakes. Content is provided as-is and is not professional advice (legal, financial or otherwise).

Third-party links and ads

Articles may link to original sources. We may show advertising (including Google AdSense) and sponsor slots. Third-party sites and advertisers have their own terms and privacy policies — we are not responsible for their content or practices.

Local Supporter subscriptions

  • Local Supporter costs $149 per month for one US city edition and is billed monthly in US dollars through Stripe until cancelled.
  • The plan includes the placements and deliverables shown on the advertising page. Copy, claims, links and artwork remain subject to review, and payment does not automatically publish supplied material.
  • You may cancel through Stripe's billing portal from the checkout confirmation page. Cancellation stops future renewals; service normally continues until the end of the paid billing period.
  • Paid placements are clearly labelled and do not influence editorial decisions. We do not guarantee traffic, enquiries, rankings, sales or any other commercial result.
  • A sponsored local feature costs $299 total for one US city edition, billed once in us dollars. It is a one-off booking, not a subscription.
  • The booking includes preparation of one clearly labelled feature from facts and materials supplied by the customer, one standard revision, and seven consecutive days of homepage or relevant section promotion after publication.
  • Payment does not automatically publish the feature or secure a requested date. We review claims, relevance, rights and suitability, then agree the angle, final wording and date. If we cannot accept the feature or agree a suitable publication date, we will refund the payment.
  • Customers must provide accurate information and permission to use all supplied words, quotes, logos and images. We do not guarantee traffic, enquiries, search rankings, sales or any other result.

Custom advertising campaigns

The scope, currency, price and delivery of bespoke or multi-city campaigns are those agreed in writing before payment. Paid placements are clearly labelled and do not influence editorial decisions.

User submissions

If you submit tips, directory/jobs listings, marketplace posts or advertising enquiries, you confirm the information is lawful and accurate, and you grant us permission to publish and moderate it. We may refuse or remove submissions that breach these terms or our editorial standards.

Image rights and licensing

Images are protected by copyright and are not licensed for reuse unless a caption, source or separate written agreement says otherwise. Copyright normally remains with the photographer, creator or supplying organisation named in the image credit. A source credit does not transfer those rights to Local Gazette.

To request permission or ask who controls the rights to a particular image, use our contact page. We will either confirm the available terms or direct you to the credited rights holder.
