Pflugerville Independent School District will hold five public hearings over the next three months, giving residents opportunities to weigh in on proposed district changes before final recommendations are made.
The hearings correspond to separate task forces examining real estate decisions, rezoning boundaries, potential school closures, high school scheduling modifications, and innovative programming initiatives. District officials said the hearings represent one way the district is seeking community input on decisions that affect attendance zones, campus transitions, schedule changes, and facility use.

- Real Estate Task Force: September 9, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. at Rock Gym
- Rezoning Task Force: September 29, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. at the Admin Building Board Room
- School Closure Task Force: September 30, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. at the Admin Building Board Room
- High School Schedule Task Force: October 27, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. at the Admin Building Board Room
- Innovative Programming Task Force: November 10, 2026 at 5:30 p.m. at the LTC Bat Cave
All hearings are open to the public. Each session will focus on the specific issues assigned to that task force. Parents, staff and community members will be able to speak directly to task force members about their concerns or questions.
The district said meeting notes and recordings will be posted on the district website after each hearing. District leaders encouraged families to attend the hearing most relevant to their concerns, whether those involve new attendance boundaries, campus closure transitions, high school schedule changes, or the future use of district facilities.
The public hearings follow a series of task force meetings that have already taken place. A district statement indicated the hearings are part of an effort to gather community feedback before task force recommendations advance further in the decision-making process.
